WHITE WINTER

Chalet Ruka Peak is located in the east Ruka area (Itä-Ruka) by the upper slopes, in a ski in – ski out area. During the season you can ski straight to the runs or slopes.  Maps of slopes >> 

The extensive cross-country ski track network of Kuusamo is also well within reach. The Ruka area alone can boast of approximately 200 kilometres of groomed tracks, 15 of which are illuminated. An illuminated track leads around Ruka Fell and passes Chalet Ruka Peak, so that it is easy for you to join in and go skiing even in the darkest of winter moments.

- Visiting a reindeer farm and driving you own reindeer sleigh

GREEN SUMMER

 The famous Kuusamo rivers tempt you to try whitewater rafting,  hiking on Karhunkierros Trail, or different types of fishing.
